INTRODUCTION

  Evergreen Chinese School is an institute specialized in Chinese language education.  

  Class placement is based on student Chinese proficiency levels. 

    There is one class at the campus per week. But exercises and homework are assigned for everyday.

  The curriculum covers Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing Chinese in Mandarin.

  Writing Characters are based on simplified Han characters.  Corresponding traditional Chinese characters will be introduced at appropriate places.

   The classroom is at 2726 Aborn Rd., San Jose, CA 95121.

SMALL CLASS PRINCIPLE

In order to ensure every student has sufficient attention from the instructor,  the number of students in a class is limited to 10 or less. They have maximum opportunity to fully exercise the Chinese language in all aspects of listening, speaking, reading and writing. 

Class Categories

1. CFL classes - Chinese as First Language classes. Grade1 through Grade 9 available.  Teacher assumes students understand mandarin and will use Chinese in lectures to teach. 

   　

2. CSL classes - Chinese as second language classes. Teacher will use English to teach in class.  Grade 1 through grade 7 available.

School year ends on June 12, 2016

School will be closed for the weeks that include national holidays and during the winter break. The green days in the calendar are class days.

FEES AND PAYMENT

Tuition $85 per month or $699 per school year.  Prorated for drop-ins.

Registration fee: New Student ：$20， Existing student: $0 

Sibling Discount: From the second student in the family, $10 each.
